Build Your Ultrasound Skills From the Ground Up

Our 2-Day Ultrasound Skills Workshop is designed for doctors and healthcare professionals who want more time to learn, scan, practise and build confidence than is possible in a one-day introductory workshop.

The course combines online preparation before the workshop with two full days of intensive, hands-on ultrasound training.

You will complete the online learning material and required quiz before attending, allowing the two practical days to focus heavily on scanning, image acquisition, interpretation and instructor feedback.

Before the Workshop — Online Preparation

Before attending the practical sessions, participants receive online learning material covering the essential ultrasound knowledge required for the hands-on training.

Participants are expected to:

• Complete the online learning material
• Review ultrasound fundamentals and terminology
• Learn basic machine controls and knobology
• Complete the required online quiz

This preparation provides the necessary theoretical foundation so that the practical days can focus primarily on scanning and hands-on training.

2 Full Days of Hands-On Training

The emphasis throughout the workshop is on practical scanning with supervision.

You will benefit from:

• Knobology and machine operation
• Probe selection and handling
• FAST / EFAST
• Lung ultrasound
• Abdominal ultrasound
• Soft-tissue ultrasound
• Basic musculoskeletal ultrasound exposure
• Basic vascular ultrasound exposure
• Image optimization
• Image interpretation
• Clinical integration and bedside application

Compared with the one-day workshop, the additional practical day allows participants to repeat examinations, practise scanning techniques and receive more individual instructor feedback.

For participants who want to develop specific skills further, we offer separate dedicated practical workshops.

MSK Ultrasound — Dedicated Workshop

A separate hands-on day focused specifically on musculoskeletal ultrasound, anatomy, scanning techniques and clinical applications.

Vascular Ultrasound — Dedicated Workshop

A separate practical day focused on vascular ultrasound, including venous and arterial applications, Doppler and clinical assessment.

Additional specialty training days can be developed according to demand and the interests of the group.

Build your skills progressively — start with the Basics, then add dedicated MSK, Vascular or other specialty training days according to your needs.
