With free access to the SK Health Digital Campus before the workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals in advance, allowing you to maximise your practical scanning time on the day.
Free Online Preparation – Maximise Your Scanning Time
Your course fee includes free access to the SK Health Digital Campus, with approximately 4–6 hours of introductory online learning covering ultrasound fundamentals, machine familiarisation, and the basics of scanning.
Complete this preparation before attending the practical workshop so you arrive with a foundation in ultrasound principles and machine controls. This allows us to dedicate more of the in-person session to practical scanning, image acquisition, interpretation, and individual instructor feedback.
There is no additional charge for access to the Digital Campus.

The workshop covers commonly used bedside ultrasound applications across emergency medicine, acute care, internal medicine, and critical care.

Ultrasound Basics and Knobology: Become familiar with ultrasound equipment, controls, and image optimisation.

FAST / EFAST: Introduction to focused assessment techniques used in emergency settings.

Lung Ultrasound: Explore common lung ultrasound applications.

Abdominal Ultrasound: Introduction to abdominal scanning techniques.

Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound: Learn the basics of scanning selected musculoskeletal structures.

Soft Tissue Ultrasound: Explore ultrasound assessment of superficial structures.

Image Interpretation and Clinical Application: Develop your understanding of image assessment and its relevance to clinical practice.

Dr. Osama Galal – Radiologist
Dr. Osama Galal is a UAE-based radiologist with experience in diagnostic imaging and ultrasound. His teaching approach focuses on practical scanning techniques, making ultrasound concepts accessible, and integrating ultrasound findings into clinical practice.
