2-Day Practical Clinical Skills Intensive
Learn It. Perform It. Get Feedback. Do It Again.
3–4 October 2026 | Al Mamzar, Dubai
Patient-Based Hands-On Examination Practice • OSCE Preparation • Clinical Skills
Do you know the steps of a cardiovascular examination — but still don’t feel confident performing it?
Have you studied clinical examination from books and videos but need supervised practice?
This course is designed to bridge that gap.
Over two intensive days, you will observe the technique, perform it yourself, receive direct feedback, correct your technique and repeat it.
This is not a lecture-only course.
The focus is on performing the examination yourself under supervision.
What You Will Practise
❤️ Cardiovascular Examination — Major Practical Focus
Day 1 gives dedicated time to cardiovascular assessment, including:
- Focused cardiovascular history
- General cardiovascular assessment
- Pulse examination
- Blood pressure measurement
- JVP assessment
- Precordial inspection and palpation
- Apex beat assessment
- Heart auscultation
- Structured examination technique
- Presenting examination findings
- OSCE-style cardiovascular stations
You will not simply watch a demonstration — you will perform the examination yourself and receive individual correction.
Important: The patients/volunteers used for practical training are primarily provided for examination practice and technique development. They should not be considered patients with specific or deliberately selected clinical findings. The emphasis is on learning and improving how to perform and present the examination, rather than diagnosing real pathology.
🫁 Complete Systematic Clinical Examination
You will also practise:
- Respiratory examination
- Abdominal examination
- Neurological examination
- Musculoskeletal examination
- General examination and clinical signs
- Head and neck examination
- ENT examination and otoscopy
- Eye examination and ophthalmoscopy
🩺 Additional Practical Skills
The programme also includes:
- ECG systematic approach and interpretation
- Suturing
- Case presentation
- Clinical reasoning
- OSCE-style practice
- Individual feedback and correction

What You Should Leave With
By the end of the course, you should have had repeated opportunities to:
✅ Approach a patient systematically
✅ Take a focused clinical history
✅ Perform a cardiovascular examination
✅ Perform respiratory and abdominal examinations
✅ Perform neurological and musculoskeletal examinations
✅ Practise ENT and eye examination techniques
✅ Approach an ECG systematically
✅ Practise suturing
✅ Present clinical findings
✅ Work through OSCE-style scenarios
✅ Receive individual feedback and correction
The goal is simple:
Not just knowing what to do — but becoming more confident doing it.
Why We Keep the Group Small
Clinical skills improve through practice, not simply by listening.
That is why we intentionally keep the group size limited.
A smaller group means more opportunity to:
Practise → Get corrected → Repeat → Improve
You will have more direct interaction with the instructor and more opportunity to work through areas where you need additional practice.
